Lara Kamal

Ph.D. Student

Lara completed her B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Genetics at Jordan University of Science and Technology. After finishing her B.Sc., she worked at the Hereditary Research Laboratory at Bethlehem University, studying the genetic etiology of hearing loss and other congenital abnormalities. Lara is performing a Direct Ph.D. in our laboratory, studying the genetic basis of hearing loss, and determining the molecular mechanism of pathogenesis in CRISPR/Cas9 mouse models.
