Michelle Zemlyak
B.Sc. student
Michelle Zemlyak is currently pursuing her B.Sc. in Applied Math and Biology from Brown University. She has previously worked at Prof Sean Wu’s Laboratory at Stanford University developing a three-dimensional cardiomyocyte matrix. At Brown, she worked at Professor Jessica Schuster’s Laboratory researching differential gene expression in pregnant mothers afflicted with preeclampsia. In our lab, Michelle is working on determining the role of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in hereditary hearing loss and deafness.
